Stream
Yann Brien
This might be our first new edition from Yann Brien since 2016, but... wow. It was well worth the wait. Printed with care and precision, Stream is a silken, fluid, monochromatic beauty with a bold graphic quality and just a soupçon of op art trickery. "Stream was inspired by the state of reverie one experiences when gazing at the constant flow of water in a river," Yann told us. "The mind unfocuses when staring into the shapeless, irrepressible current, and before long, the line between dream and reality disappears, bringing to the surface images and thoughts that were deeply embedded in the subconscious. The title also hints at the prevalence of the boundless and ever-increasing amount of data that has gradually permeated our daily lives, and in which we are continually immersed." Stream was hand-printed by the artist in his London studio, April 2021.

- One colour silkscreen print
- 300gsm Fabriano 5
