Lizzie Hillier

A very limited edition, related to Lizzie’s Dynamic series, albeit with a cooler palette and a textural approach that captures the natural movement of water. Always keen to experiment, Lizzie caught raindrops on an inked surface, screen-printing the resulting textures across the top half of a composition that appears to be in a state of flux… like leaves and flotsam, floating on the surface of a stream or river. Even the more solid, geometric blocks appear to drift across its surface, pushing beyond the picture’s edge. Hand-printed by Lizzie in her Sussex studio, summer 2021; launched as part of her debut Look Up collection.
