Incandescent 6

Katy Binks

Incandescent 6 was created for our summer 2019 exhibition, Awe Yes / The Joy of Print – part of the E17 Art Trail programme. Katy on mono printing: "It's like sketching. It’s the most unplanned, intuitive way of printmaking, and the closest to painting. It forces me to work fast, to be confident and not overthink. To embrace the unknown. Technically it won't be clean, but the imperfections make it; give it character. It's about that moment of lifting up the screen to see what happened. Unexpected, unrepeatable moments."

Details

  • Silkscreen monoprint, 10 colours
  • Signed and numbered on verso
  • Unique state print (numbered 1/1)
  • Approx. 340mm x 510mm
£180.00
