There’s an intriguing, fairytale feel to Blue Horizons – a psychedelic lunar landscape driven by blues, greys, and brought to life by pops of fluorescent yellow. The triangles contain and compliment the energy of the over-lapping circular motifs, bringing rhythm to the composition, whilst expressing Zoe’s fondness for travel, nature, and Brutalist architecture. The coolness of its palette takes nothing away from the energy and dynamism of composition. The half-tone elements are from photos of palm trees, blown up and cropped to create texture and depth. Hand-pulled by the artist; launched as part of her debut Look Up collection.
