Diane Bresson

Directly influenced by Diane’s experiments with silkscreen monoprints, Yquem incorporates brushstroke elements, which follow the ebb and flow of her composition. Horizontal and vertical lines add structure to its undulating, curvilinear forms – crisp geometry softened by the organic lines of that ’s’ shape, and the petal-like forms at the foot of the composition. The colours inspired the title: changing through the years from straw yellow to golden brown with amber and caramel highlights, Chateau d’Yquem is a Premier Cru Supérieur wine from Bordeaux. Yquem is one of three riso editions launched in July 2021 for Diane’s debut Look Up collection. Printed by Duplikat Press.
